About my work
Based in Perth, Western Australia, I work in community arts, documentary film, museum and contemporary art curation. I am also a screen based and visual artist. I’ve screened my award winning films at international festivals and have broadcast them on Stan and SBS in Australia. I completed my studies in documentary film at the Victorian College of the Arts, University of Melbourne in 2008 and Anthropology honours at the University of Western Australia in 2001.
Guided by my passion for storytelling, I often work with communities to explore themes relating to multiculturalism, identity and belonging, memory, cultural practices and contemporary art. I’m currently developing a new business venture to combine my artistic pursuits with cultural and contemporary art experiences.
